I have an 01 1500 Sierra with the 5.3L 4X4 with the 4L60E automatic. In the last year I have had to replace the spacer plate between the transmission and the transfer case twice. I dont have anything that I can really count as a symptom other than a vibration that starts at about 140 km/h and stops when I either go faster or slower than that. It doesn't seem to matter if I am accelerating, decelerating or maintaining my speed. I have talked to some dealerships as well as some transmission shops and they all give me a different story from stiff U joints in the drive shaft to bent or out of balance drive shafts. I would appreciate any insight you may have.

Check for missing weights on driveshaft(s) you may see a spot where it should be if theyre missing
Possible bent shaft(s)
Bad U-joints
