2001 Sierra 4.3L misfire

I have a service engine soon light that stays on and sometime flashes. The code indicates that it is a misfire detected. I have changed the plugs, checked the resistance on the wires and changed the cap and rotor as well as the coil. At this point i am out of ideas as to what it could be. Maybe the fuel injector? Please help.

What are the DTC codes??? here is a link that may help you go to the right directions. Good luck and keep us posted on what DTC codes you had.

Sorry about the late reply but wanted to let everyone knowthe cause for future reference if someone has this issue. It was a clogged catalytic converter. You cant push air/fuel mix into the cylinder if you cant push the exhaust out.Thanks to everyone for you help.
