Problem in a nut shell is just like i unpluged the coil and tried to start the truck and just rolls over and wont start..no spit no sputter.. drove down the road stoped at the store. went to start the truck would not start after 12 min of trying it. started and worked fine for the rest of the day took it back home and this morning wont start.. Please help

I have good spark from coil.. replaced cap and distrubitor, plugs and wires. good spark all the way threw, hear the fuel pump, i have 64 65 psi. after putting the gauge on.

Code reader gives me 174,155,171,101 which is an o2 sensor bank 2 and its saying its running lean. checked the filter squarl decided to rip it apart and make a nest. cleaned that out.. that fixes the mas sensor for the 101 new air filter. new fuel filter.

If anyone could give me any ideas to check befor i remove the carb and intake manafold that would be great.. Thank you.

Test your ICM (ignition control module), If the ICM is bad, then you start having issues like the one you have described. Also inspect all the wires leads to your crank shaft sensor and cam sensor which is at the abs of the distributor. A faulty ICM will not know when to trigger the fuel injectors to fire and you get no engine starts or run.

Keep us posted and good luck, Auto Zone or Parts Source will test your ICM free of charge. Most of the time the ICM doesn't go bad all at once. It usually will not start after the car/truck is at normal running temperature and is shut off. After it cools down it will start and so on and so on. ;)
