2002 Sonoma back rotor

2002 Sonoma 4.3L 4x4 Crew Cab back rotor won't come off.

Everything is off including the parking brake cable but it still feels like something is holding it on. Do I just need to whack it good or am I missing something? Thanks for the help.

well this is how i do it when they won't come off. Put 2 lug nuts on backwards and tighten with wrench. Get big hammer and hit rotor face (where the padfs hit) till it brakes off the rotor. Ok now remove rotor. Sometimes you will have to break rotor at hub as well by hitting it in the hub part near nug stud.

Thanks..it finally came loose after penetrating oil had time to work and a few good whacks. Now I have to tighten up the parking brake cable that didn't need loosened in the first place.
