2003 ABS and Brake light

I have a 2003 Envoy, my check engine light came on and I used a MaxiScan s310 to retrieve the codes. When I plug it in, nothing happens, 5 seconds later my ABS and Brake lights come on. The scanner is fine and works on my other cars and I have used it before on my Envoy. Any help would be grateful.

Hello! did you get this figured out? I recently bought a 2003 Sonoma with a check engine light on. I had the Catalitic converter changed and that took care of the Check engine light but I still have the ABS and Brake lights on. Checked the brakes and they look just fine.

Lots of ABS problems with my 2005 slt......replace both front wheel bearing speed sensor assemblies.
