Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and always have had a Chevrolet/GMC truck. last year I bought a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD just to plow with at my house and to haul wood and some Home Depot runs and back. I also have a 2005 Pontiac GTO with the LS2 engine. I have done some research on making my LQ9 in my truck a LS2. I just want some opinions or if someone has done this yet what the results came out to be. I know I can remover the 317 heads and put on 243's I also have the factory cam from the GTO. I have the Factory computer program from the GTO as well for HP tuners. My thoughts are that this would work and I would come close to the 400 HP 400 TQ spec> just trying to get a confirmations this might work before I tear down this engine in the truck. I know I will have to change the velve springs as the heads came off a 5.3 trailblazer engine but the intake manifold I question and also the fuel injectors. The truck only has 72K on it. and just order BBK headers as the manifold is cracked on the driver side plus a broken bolt. "common issue" I would be greatful for some input anyone would have. Thanks! Paul
