2003 GMC Sierra Denali Quadrasteer Question

Hey all,
I'm new here but just a quick question. I'm looking at buying a 2003 gmc sierra Denali quadrasteer but my question is can you put a lift kit on a quadrasteer without a problem? I could see a body lift because that would lift it off the axels and not affect any of the quadrasteer components but how about a suspension lift? I'm not lookin at a 8" lift but wouldn't you have to re fabricate the rear tie rods for the quadrasteer? Just curious.
And one last thing, what is all of your opinions on those trucks? I haven't heard much bad about them at all.

Can't answer your question about the lift on it. Thought about it for mine, but never did, decided it was probably best not to mess with it. I love it, 137,000 miles with no problems with the quadsteer at all. I leave it in 4 wheel steer mode all the time.

Thanks for the info. So I guess its just a matter of refabricating the rear CV joints and knuckles... which I would take to a shop and have done right. Sure I know how to use a cutting torch and a welder but do I feel safe tackling a job like that?? Noooooooo It might be a quest to find a shop that will do that though and a few $$$$$. I really want a quadrasteer but I also want a lifted truck so I guess this is do-able but will require some special attention thanks for the help!!!
