2003 gmc sonoma

I just bought a used 2003 gmc sonoma with oversized wheels and I am a braking issue. When the brake pads are cool in the morning the truck brakes fine but as I drive more the brakes become hot and for some strange reason the wheels shake and lock up?
Do I need better suspension parts or bigger rotors?
Anyone have any advise on this. I have to step on the brakes so lightly!!

What you need is to put the correct sized wheels on the truck, but you may have some success by trying a different brake pad material.
