2004 windshield wiper problems

My 2004 Sierra has developed a problem with the windshield wipers - they stopped working, but if I tilt the steering wheel in the up position, the wiper will work, looking for any solution to fix this problem - thanks

Sounds like a bad electrical connection to me. Try and trace the wires and look for any obvious shorts or bad connections. Not sure if this is your problem but it doesn't cost anything to check.

Thanks.....I failed to mention that the wipers will work with the wheel tilted in the lower position, on the high ( fast ) setting only...
