New to the forum. I need some advise on fixing my truck. I tried the search menu to no avail. My engine light came on two years ago. something about the evaporation control or valve. I rarely drive the truck. Around 6,000 miles a year. Truck has 129,000 miles, as far as i know the plugs and wires are still original. I have finally gotten tired of looking at the light. Any suggestions as to diagnosing and/or fixing it? Paying someone to take there time to fix it and charge the crap out of me is not an option. I have decent mechanical skills. Thanks for the help.
