2006 Canyon

Ive started having a engine dying problem,the check engine light came on and now it will die after a few minutes then when I try to start it again the dash lights come on like normal but it wont even try to start for a few minutes.Also after that it says low power.This is the only problem ive had with this truck,miles are at 84000,Is it a vac hose leak or something more expensive,Any thoughts,Thanks

If the check engine light came on, what is the code? This could send you in the right direction. Has the cylinder head ever been changed?
