2006 gmc envoy headlights wont work , all other lights work including brights

There is a device much like a relay and that looks similar to a relay for the low beam bulbs in the under hood fuse block for the low beams. This is common for failing. There is another one for the engine fan. Swap these to see if the lights come on. The numbers on the top are 15016745. That is also the part number to order if that if the lights come on.

You will likely need to see a dealer for that part. It is called a Headlight Driver Module.

i had a similar problem on my truck
try replaceing the headlight switch and interior light switch

Dead on. HDM (15016745) worked when replaced with Fan relay...both same part#, of course. Odd thing...engine fan worked fine after switching relays.

To be safe, I switched them back and will replace HDM with new one from dealership tomorrow. (Hope it's cheap.)

You guys saved me a lot of time and money (at the dealership). Thanks a million. My 2002 had this same problem; no low beam headlights. After checking the fuses, bulbs, etc.. I went to the Internet and volia! Problem solved... I swapped the relays and that was the issue. Heading to the dealer to order the part or maybe I'll do RockAuto....
