Hey everyone,
I just recently purchased a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. I actually just noticed that the heated seats are not working properly. I've looked on several threads regarding this topic. I ripped apart the driver seat, I thought the element may have been fried - looked good. The fuse also appears to be alright. I'm just wondering a few things, perhaps you guys can shed some light on.
If the passenger seat element is fried, should the driver side still work?
The buttons on the door to operate the heated seats flashes for a second and makes a 'clicking' sound when pushed. The sound seems to be coming from the drivers side... thoughts?
All of the other electronic functions of the seat do work just fine. Would there be any specific wiring that I should be looking at?
Thanks so much for the replies guys... I really do appreciate it.
Jenna
