2007 Acadia has had intermittent tranny hesitations. Last night wife calls and says vehicle is shuttering and will only creep down the road says sounds like grinding or thumping under hood.
Observations:
Vehicle will crank and idle smooth.
Vehicle is only running on back three cylinders. Front three is not running at all and no power to coils.
Vehicle will not idle high with gas pressed.
Vehicle has oil.
Every few minutes can hear something appears to be inside motor . Slap thump or grind. doesn't last long enough to hear real good. vehicle is in park.
Vehicle appears to maybe be in a limp mode.
Read out inside of vehicle says service skid control and something else don't remember the other but has something to do with drive train.....
Any suggestions will be appreciated
