I have a 2007 Denali with 64000 mi. Drive and 3rd went out suddenly.
reverse,2 and 1st engage. Truck does not tow and is serviced every 3-4000 mi.
Trans fluid changed at 50000. Any ideas or other owners have this problem?
Truck went off extended warranty one year ago.
Thanks for your help.

You may have the 2nd and 3rd gear with revers, if you do then it sounds like an easy fix.

No 1st or 4th available and transmission shifts 2nd to 3rd by itself in D or OD and locks the converter. The ShiftA solenoid failed which is a easy fix in the pan, Or it could be a wiring problem from PCM to transmission.

Keep us posted and good luck ;)
