2008 SIERRA wont start

Got up to go to work the starter did bump the flywheel checked the voltage had 10.2 volts replaced the battery. now it wont try to start cant lock or unlock the doors with the remote or the switch on the door i can roll the front windows up and down but not the back, lignts and radio work fuel pump sounds like its running. Onstar ran a dig. said there was a communicatioin loss at the transmission and engine had it towed to dealership. I did call at 5 they said just got into it and the fuses were good going to look into it more on Monday. Anyone else had this happen.

A new battery and body control module back on the road. Just under 650.00. Battery had shorted internally what got the bcm. Or so I'm told

May have sounded like I dont believe the dealer. Im very happy i searched the net on the problem and found others paying more the 650 included a 147.17 battery bought at another repair shop. not too happy with gm using an oddball battery for the new trucks when the battery on my 03 tahoe was 88.00 same brand. I started to cut the cables and use a different battery.
