my 2009 sierra 1500 with 5.3 idles rough at cold start then smooths out after 30-45 seconds. any ideas that would cause this

i know its not a GMC But, it makes me wonder
a friend had a BMW that a cold start, rough idle n smoke out the tail pipe
he fought with the dealer then they kept it overnight
so they could do a cold start, there was some injectors going bad
so the dealer replaced all the injectors
car ran great after that
