seems like you solve one problem and another pops up, now, intermittently, starter cranks and times out but truck doesn't start, try again, truck starts, now happening more often, seems like it happens after truck is sitting even an hour or two, see the same problem posted all over the internet but no solution, is there a recall on the fuel pump drive module, apparently this has been going on over several years with no solution found, this has become the worse GM vehicle I have ever owned.

the problem is the module that controls the fuel pump, it is located on top of the frame by the spare tire and it does not like stuff coming off the tires, it is a sealed unit but moisture gets in and corrodes it, I am told that the new module has to be programed by a gm dealer for it to work, I dried mine out and coated with under coating, haven't had a problem since, can you imagine, having to get it programed by a dealer for it to work? I will not buy another gm vehicle
