2010 Sierra wont start

I just bought a 2010 Sierra sl nevada edition and some times when i turn the she wont start the fan radio ect. works and when i turn her over it all goes dead . only sometimes when it happens a light of a car with a lock thru it comes up on the dash
I brought it to the dealer the said it was the starter and replaced it , three days later it did the same thing. anyone have any ideas about this .

I am sorry to hear that your Sierra is experiencing this concern and replacing the starter did not address the problem. Sounds like the anti-theft lock.
Unplug your battery for about five minutes to let the computer reset. After you get your battery hooked up, it should be ok.
Mine did the same thing twice. Not really sure what is causing it to happen every so often.

Hope this helps and you get your money back from the rip off dealer you went to!

thanks i will try that it has happened to me many many times dozens in fact the dealer is trying to find the problem i still have a year of warranty with it most time times if i turn the key a few times it will start then but there was one time I was stranded for about 5 hours only to start when the tow truck droped me at the dealers doorstep
