We took our 2011 Acadia to the dealer today for an air conditioning problem. Although it is 6mo past warranty and 2000mi past factory warranty we have the $0 deductible major guard extended warranty. They charged the system, added dye and said no leaks were found. Being that they found no faulty parts they want to charge me $124 for the refrigerant and labor. It is leaking somewhere! I'm sure they will find the leak eventually but why do I have to pay until they do? I am a bit disappointed to say the least.

Has anyone encountered this issue with the major guard warranty. I talk with the service manager when I pick up the car in the morning.

A/c issue resolved

Well the service manager put in writing that he would give me credit for the refrigerant charge when they find the leak because I have the major guard coverage. I can live with that.
