I am stuck on whether to get the GMC or the Buick. I have heard both pros and cons about both of each of the SUVs however, I cannot decide which one I should get. They both have the same sticker price with the Buick coming in about $2,000 more than the Acadia. I want a good quality car that wont have many issues. Please give me your opinion on if you think that I should get the Acadia Denali or the Fully Loaded Buick Enclave CXL2 AWD

The first crossover from GMC is Acadia and it is one of the rising families among the large crossover vehicles. The design part of Acadia is quite similar to that of Yukon, Yukon XL and full-size SUVs of GMC. It is available either as an all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive and can accommodate seven to eight passengers. The new 2011 GMC Acadia adds an upscale Denali trim level and competes with Honda Pilot, Mazda CX-9 as well as Toyota Highlander.

Enclave or GMC Acadia?, which is best, just look at both of them, the Buick looks like your father's Buick, dated. The Acadia is fresh new look, modern looking.

Okay, I'll bite:

Aesthetics are individual, so your tastes may differ on styling and such, but the 4 year or 50k mile bumper to bumper coverage (VS 3 year or 36k on the GMC) may sway you toward the Buick, with the PowerTrain coverages being the same.. If considering a 2013 the Powertrain is also different, the GMC remains a 5 year/100k while the 2013 Buick is going to a 6 year/70k Powertrain...

Also there's the QuietTuning.... It's solely Buick.

On the other hand there's the distinctive appearance of the Acadia Denali... Also the Denali has Head-Up display whereas the Enclave doesn't offer it.

Decisions decisions...

The good news is that, either way, you get an AWESOME vehicle!

Built at the same factory, same quality between the two with more “Ginger Bread” on the Buick. For me there is too much fake (plastic) chrome on the Buick. That is why I personally prefer the GMC. It all boils down to personal taste. They share common parts.

I am waiting for the 2013 GMC with (hopefully) nicer design and a much improved NAV (disk based vs. DVD) system. Not a big issue, but the Acadia is being phased out.

Bobby Kirby,

Congratulations on being in the process of finding a new vehicle! You've narrowed it down to two superb choices. If you had already located two vehicles that you're comparing and wanted for us to look up the build information for you, or if you had any specific questions about the vehicles, please don't hesitate to contact us via direct message (we would need the last 8 digits of the VINs).

Otherwise, the Online Order Guide might help you with what comes standard on the vehicle and what was available as an option: http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/dmdindex.htm

I hope this is helpful for you, and we look forward to pictures of your new vehicle!
