I have a 2011 GMS Sierra 1500 purchased 12/5/11. It has approx 3100 miles on it today. I have approx 50 paint chips to the lower body that are showing bare metal. I feel the aggressive tires that were put on this vehicle is causing the damage to it. The tires constantly are holding stones. Splash guards were put on the vehicle a couple days after purchased. I have been to the dealership and at first they agreed to paint it, but when I asked for new tires to help fix the problem they said absolutely not and will do nothing for me at this time. The GM paint rep was rude and sarcastic, blamed it on how I drive, and where I drove. I felt if they paint it without fixing the problem that is causing it, then its only going to chip again. You see this isn't my first new vehicle from GM. We have owned three new vehicles from GM over the last 9 years. We use our trucks as trucks and have never had any problem with paint chiping. This is very heartbreaking that GM doesn't want to fix the problem when my family has been very loyal customers. So tell me GM would you like to drive around in a new vehicle with only 3100 miles on it and be a satisfied customer?
