I recently purchased a certified used 2011 Sierra Denali 1500 with the 6.2L. After driving it for the past few weeks, I have noticed that sometimes it feels like it bogs down a little in mid gears (around 40-45 mph), typically when I am coasting at a steady clip but then give her a little gas to maintain speed on an incline. Eventually, if I press down on the gas enough, she'll pick up to the next gear and accelerate out of it. But it almost feels like she doesn't like to go 40-45 mph - she's happy and purrs at lower speeds and at higher speeds, and of course, she loves to accelerate in general. My previous truck was a 2004 Chevy Silverado with 5.3L and I never experienced this. Any ideas on whether this is normal? Is this a characteristic of the 6.2L or is this something I need to return and have looked at?
