I bought a 2011 Sierra in Sept 2011 brand new, since then it has been in the shop 8 different times. I lived in Alaska when I bought it and it has had 3 engine sensors replace, got in my truck one morning and their was water in the interior dome light, now I just took it in for leaking oil cooler lines and the slip yoke went out. I currently live in Texas, due to being in the military and having to move. I filed a formal complaint with GM, but awaiting to hear back from the regional manager about it. I was looking into the lemon laws but wondering if I qualify and which state standards do I follow? This seems like a lot of issues to me, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this amount of problems. Also does anyone have any insight on options, I have looked on the internet for some possibilities but wondering what percentage of them are true of it actually happening. There are stories where GM has bought the truck back. I like this truck and dont really want to get rid of it just using up all my time and worried about when the warranty goes out. It only has 22,000 miles on it.

Thanks

Awaiting an answer from GM about compensation, I am pretty sure I will be trading the truck off at 36000 miles if the compensation isnt right. If I keep the truck the 100K extended warranty should be free. From what I have seen other people post if it is true, you pretty much have GM at your hands, but we all know how true stuff posted on the internet is..... I am awaiting the district mananget to call me back this afternoon with what they have to offer.
