2011 Sierra Wont start

HELP ME!!! Monday, my truck turned over but wouldn't start (-40) we boosted it and it was fine. Husband started it next morning no issues but one hour later wouldn't turn over at all. Managed to get it started that night (no boosting) drove it to the repair shop and they installed a new battery. Wednesday morning wouldn't turn over. Towed it back to garage, they cleaned all the fuses (some moisture and corrosion) and over the next 5 hours they started it 7-8 times with no issues then it wouldn't turn over again, all the lights and dashboard is normal. Help!

New starter, new problem

Over the past few months I've been having starter issues. I would have to beat the starter just to get it to crank. It only did this sometimes. So, I bought a new starter. While installing it I realized the aftermarket version from autozone was longer by about an inch. In order to install it I had to snip the oil level sensor wires. I eventually got the starter in, bolted up, those wires respliced back together, all good. No...I turned the key and it cranks like a champ but now it wont fire. I'm gonna check the fuel pump relay but I really dont think that's it. Anyone have any ideas?

my 2009 3500hd had the same issue.. It turned out to be a bad connection at the ecm; specifically at the ign terminal. Mine was on the top connector to the ecm it was a pink wire in the #9 pin. Had to replace the pin terminal in the plug for that hole. also check your pwrtrn relay and starter relay both located in the fuse box under the hood as well as all other fuses under there.

if you cut oil sensor wires you may not have spliced back together good
the newer vehicles have to sense oil pressure or it wont start
same thing if its running and senses no oil pressure it will shut down
