2012 gmc Sierra steering wheel controls

Hey guys. I have a 2012 Sierra and was curious if the volume controls located on the underside of the steering wheel are backlit? All of the other controls on the face of the steering wheel light up but not the volume controls. Is this standard or do I have a problem?

I checked the resources I have available and am not able to state whether or not the volume controls are supposed to be illuminated. If you were concerned, we would recommend getting this checked into by your dealership. I have a 2012 GMC Sierra and the volume controls do not light up. Taking your vehicle into a dealer to ask them this would just be a big waste of your own time.
