My 2012 Sierra hybrid only has 3k miles on it, and I love the truck. I'd like to update/alter the navigation system settings and how the map displays on the screen (making the map always orient to North vs. direction of travel, 'touch and drag' to move map view vs. 'touch and jump' where the map centers on where you touch, etc). The user options available through the 'options' button don't allow for much functionality. Does anyone know if this is possible, or if what we get from the factory is all we get? I haven't seen anything in the owners manual and not had much luck searching online.

Did your truck come with a navigation system manual? If so, I believe that North-Up instructions are located on p. 48.
As far as moving the map, it looks like tapping the screen will center the map on where you tap, whereas holding your finger on the screen will make it scroll (page 46).
