After switching out my summer rims to winter rims, my tire warning light was ON and i got no tire pressure readings. I searched the internet and couldn't get a clear answer about resetting/relearning procedure to avoid going to the dealership. I ended up using a relearning tool from a friend, but he insisted that it could be done without it. The Relearning tool was from k-Tool International
How to get the 2012 Yukon Denali in Relearning mode.
1. Make sure Parking brake is on.
2. Put the key into the ignition in the ON position without starting the truck.
3. Hold Lock and Unlock buttons on key remote without take key out of the ignition. The horn will sound two times to inform you that truck is in learning mode.
4. Using Relearning tool, go to front left tire, hold relearning tool on tire, near valve and activate tool. Horn will beep 1 time once learned. Now proceed to the next tire. The horn will beep again 2 times once completed with all tires.
Order to follow
a) Left Front Tire
b) Right Front Tire
c) Right Rear Tire
d) Left Rear Tire
The procedure without the learning tool is trigger the TPMS by deflating air out the tire. Get the truck into learning mode and start deflating left front tire. NOTE: This didnt work for me, but my tire friend said it should work.
