2014 sierra all terrain transmission

Know lot of threads on transmission. Was searching for ones specific to the
to the new body style.

Have 2014 with 4,000 miles. Not long after purchase, dealer informed
of a recall. It was performing fine. After first reflash. It shifted
harder and noticed a clunk when letting off the accelerator and when
accelerating.

Was in the the other day for the oil change (free low miles), adviser
noted that another recall on transmission was needed. Now it
seems to whine more, and a little slower on acceleration. A friend
heard they was doing this for fuel mileage ??

So just curious if any other 14's have had the recalls.

I had the Recall, I have the same 14' Sierra, 40,000kms now, but got the recall done at about 30,000. It shifts harder, and slower like you said. I found it took quite a bit of time for it to get used to it again, but now it seems like all is good. Haven't had anything to complain about since but it did seem a little off for the first thousands kms.
