So I went into the dealer today and while I was waiting for a shuttle home a salesmen comes up to me interested in buying my truck. (2009 Sierra SLT Z71 65,000 miles). He said it is in high demand apparently and he would like to try and get me to trade it in.

He was showing me a 2014 Sierra SLT that was 36999. I was wondering what kind of play they have in used car prices? I do not want to pay more then I am paying monthly now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get them to come down a little bit? Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

Most dealers will have a spot on their website to determine the trade in value of your vehicle. Use it to see what it would be. But if they don't buy the Kelley book. Print it off and use it as leverage. If the truck you're looking at is a 2014, they have fantastic incentives.
