I have a 2015 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 that I bought from a used car lot that has been lifted and has after market rims and tires. Since the day we bought it when making right and left hand turns the steering wheel would lock up and the truck would auto decelerate. This has caused us much concern. My wife and I thought the lift had been installed incorrectly however the lift manufacturer has said that the lift is not the issue. Also the lift manufacturer reviewed the lift to make this determination.
My wife and I were then told to take the truck to the a GMC dealership for them to look at the steering and make a determination for the repair. Now after 4 weeks of being at a GMC Dealership it has come back that the dealer can not determine the cause for the steering and deceleration issue and told us to pick up the truck.
This is a huge safety concern as the truck has almost wrecked my family and I on several occasions. This cant be the only truck that has experienced this issue. If anyone can help lead us in a direction for the fix please let me know.
