2022 GMC 1500 SLT. The truck has two (2) 120 volt outlets. One in the center console and one in the bed. The owners manual shows a switch located in the center of the instrument cluster. My truck as no such switch. The pilot light on the bed outlet shows no signal. With a multi-meter, I tested with, there is no voltage shown. Are 2022 (build date March 2022) supposed to all have a switch on the instrument panel? Has anyone else had this problem?

Another of GM’s screw the consumer issues, they built a bunch of trucks with the outlets but no guts to make them work. Mary Barra cares little for the “loyal customer” and your outlets will only work If you regularly yell at the selling dealer about being “sold short”. I finally dumped my Sierra with five features on the never to be seen retrofit list after I waited eleven months for any word from GM. My many inquires resulted in “someday“ responses from GM, I feel they have committed theft by accepting money for a total vehicle and delivering with parts missing and no commitment to install them. After sixty years of GM I have purchased my last, beware to anyone who contemplates purchase of one of their incomplete vehicles.
