Hello, my truck JUST got back from the shop, where it sat for a week complete inside. I brought it home yesterday, after one night outside in the cold it won't start. I've tried hooking it up to my charger but no go. It turns over just fine and fast. But it never starts. Any ideas?

Check the ICM (ignition control module). Look for any corrosion to the wire leads and have the ICM tested. Common for the ICM to fail after a few years and thousand miles on the engine. Start with then and the fuel filter, good luck and keep me posted.

Sorry I'm not very vehicle literate, the only things I know how to do are replace radiator, replace starter, replace glow plugs, and replace batteries. In other words the only things I know how to do are thing that have broken in the past.

Could you inform me where I could find the ICM?

Also Another forum recommended using HEET, which did not work. I also tried charging the batteries, jumping it and using Ethir starting spray.

MY bad friend, was working on something else also. 6.2 Diesel , check the Glow Plugs, fuse to the glow plugs and wire leads. Make sure there is no wire leads that have broke away or damaged in anyway. Replace the Fuel filter if that has not been done and check to make sure the fuel pump is working. Keep me posted, be glad to help you get your Sierra running 100% again soon.
