wont start.
I can hear the fuel pump when the key is switched on, new distributor cap, new electric ignition module, new spark plug leads(firing order is correct), new spark plugs.
tank has fuel. battery is good, alternator is great. starter motor easily turns over engine . wont start, no error codes.:mad:
i get no spark and i get no fuel into the injectors.
looking for some help, a list of things to check would be helpful,
thanks in advance

oh i should add that i couple of times in the last week i was having the oil pressure gauge drop right to nothing and had the check gauges light up...the oil level is good.

thanks for all the help guys. sarcasm aside.

list of things that you should check:
Neutral safety switch, EIM, Distributor rotor, Cam position sensor, oil pressure sending unit, ECM, all the wires that are attached to those items

fuel filter?
there is a service port on the fuel injector rail
as you have someone try to start it
open the valve (push the pin in)
is there fuel flowing ?
I at one time some auto makers required oil pressure before injectors would fire,
oil pressure sending unit ? do you have pressure gauge or idiot light?
sending units are sensitive, pliers on it are a no-no

No fuel pressure valve on a TBI engine.

So there are no error codes? Sometimes the ECM can be bad and come up with no error codes. If you have no spark and no fuel, it could be the ECM or a wiring problem.

ok the issue was the gears on the distributor were worn to the point that although the rotor would spin the timing was wrong. hope this helps some one in the future
