Hi All, I just bought a 93 suburban 4 wheel drive. Worked good for 54 miles and then stopped moving in the middle of the road. From what I can tellthe transmission pump went out on it. While I understand that I will have to rebuild the trany, I was wondering if I can upgrade it by putting something other then the 4L60E in it. IE; 4L80, 4L75, or such. The biggest thing I am wondering about is of the wiring harness and or computer changes that I may need to do. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
