93 GMC Jimmy engine revs!

Okay Mr. Moison, maybe you can answer this cause we cant figure it out and the guy at the parts store, well you know! I have a 93 Jimmy and the engine revs very high when you give it gas in park, and while driving. Changed the TPS and no fix, and I can't find any info about what might be causing it! If you could help that would be great! Thanks!

hi buckswife have you checked the idle air control valve? is it throttle body injection or CPI(full injection) ?

clean the MAF and the throttle body, they are probably all gunked up.
