Hello Everyone!
I'm new to this forum and have hit a problem with my recently purchased Sierra, 1993 GMC Sierra SLE 1500 5.7L. When I purchased it the parking brake release handle is broken. You can go under the dash and manually flip the switch where the release is to release the parking brake but the release handle and cable itself is gone.
Here is my problem. I have been looking everywhere for an appropriate release handle and cable, but all I can find is 1995 and up. Does anyone know if the 95 cable will work with the 93? or will it be too long? I have just been trying to figure this one out for a while and am stumped.
Any help is greatly appreciate.
