Driving down high way..vehicle quits
wont start tow home
thought it was out of gas...it might have been but it wont start now
gas being sprayed from injectors...i think there is no spark
replaced coil, distributor cap, plugs wires

what else...what am i not thinking of...i know its possible that it is the electronic control module but trying everything else first.

it was so odd...it shut off just like someone flipped a switch....
prior to this it was running just fine

Good chance that it's going to be your ICM (ignition control module). You can have that tested at Auto Zone, Parts Source or most automotive parts store.

You can also check for DTC codes on your Suburban on your own, do that first before trying to replace parts that may not be the issues that needs to be addressed.

Good luck and keep us posted and sound's like it's going to be a bad ICM.

That sucks... I had a 88 S10 blazer did the same thing... turned out to be the timing chain.
