94 sonoma turn signal help

hey everyone, sorry about such a newb question. but just bought myself a pickup. i need help trying to get the turn signal to work. so far i have replace the turn signal flasher thing and still nothing works. everything works the on the lever thingy like the wipers/water squirt.

about the truck; it is the basic model with manual everything. 2wd.

did you check the bulbs to see if they work?

yep. everything works. the lights, the hazards, the hi-beam, everything except the when you lift the lever for the turn signals. well, someone pm'd me it may be the switch, so im going to give that a try. if i ever figure out how to take it out.

alright. im replacing the signal switch. anyone done it before or have instructions. i am stuck. i have removed the steering wheel and the lock plate. now what do i do next. i cant simply pull out the switch there's not enough room.
