While driving my 96 g.m.c. jimmy 6cyl , the engine shuts down , the car does not start, someone told me it could be the fuel pump and i checked the fuel valve under the hood and no fuel comes out, I've checked the fuel pump relay and it makes the click when i turn on the ignition key(also check voltage and continuity on relays) but there's no sound on the fuel pump when is on, there's no oil pressure in the gauge.
I read something related with the oil pressure switch and the fuel pump causing system shut down could it be that?
A i said for the relay , i checked the tree relays for voltage and switch between one to another , looks like there is only one that sends the power to the pump and makes the click , the 3 relays are the same and it looks they are connected in serie.

did u try putting a pressure gage on the fuel rail while cranking the engine over? But like another user stated this fuel pumps are notorious for going bad! Oh and just because a relay clicks does not rule out the possibility that it's not bad!
