96 gmc sonoma hard to start and idles rough?

ive changed

plugs
fuel filter
check vacumn lines


any thing else

when it dosnt want to start i put the gas all way tot he floor and it starts and blow black smoke
then idles rough and hesiatates on the takeoff?
what can this be?

If no MIL is popping up, i would also suspect a bad coolant temp gauge.
