I have a 96 K2500 with the 7.4l and 4L80e and it will not start. The problem started off as happing every once in a while now it will not start at all. I started off thinking is was a fuel problem so I replaced the filter and pump relay, then I thought it was a spark problem so I replaced the cap rotor and cam sensor. Then I went back to is it a fuel problem so I pulled the bed checked the ground to the pump and verified the pump is working when you jumper the pump relay. The pump relay signal comes from the ECC, so I got a new ECC. I had a friend with a Tech2 come over to program the new ECC and the programmer will not connect to the ECC, put the old ECC back in and I get the same connection error. Any ideas?
