I have posted on this and other sites looking for answers for a random multiple cyl. missfire code of P0300. This has been an ongoing problem for years now and I have isolated the problem to when ever there is a high moisture content in the air and the truck sits for a few days, it is not happy. That is, hard to start, Check engine light, P0300 and runs rough for awhile. By a high moisture content I mean, foggy conditions and misty rainy days, not necessarily whenever it rains. I have learned to live with it but if anybody else has had a similar problem and has come up with a solution, please drop me a line.
