I have a 96 sonoma 2wd and im going to replace shocks on all four corners. My question is on the front is it recommended to change shock and spring or is it fine to change just shock. How would i test to see if spring is still good.

Shocks only, unless it has been damaged in collision or other. If vehicle sits relatively level, all springs are ok.
Before replacing the rear shocks, use plenty of penetrating oil on lower nuts a day or so before replacement.

It hasnt been in a collision or anything but its a 96 and im kinda thinking its all still stock. Lol. The truck sits level and everything. When im going down roads my truck bounces alot so i want to make a better ride.
