97 blower motor issue (s )

Have found posts concerning same but not this particular problem so...

Symptoms -

The blower blows ( in more ways than one lol ) , just don't get much on the inside.
It's like when it's on low you can barely feel anything with hand on
vents.

Medium - feel air a couple of inches from vents

High - feel air 4 - 6 inches from vent .


I do have 12V's at the housing under hood , and the motor
appears to be turning at a good rate and the vents do switch from dash
to defrost etc.

Looked under dash ( pass. side ) and everything appears to be
encased in plastic and didn't want to tear it apart not knowing
what I was looking for.

Any help / advice appreciated .

could have a weak blower motor. or relay or resistor, they are all cheap may as well replcae them.

You also may have leaf debris in the cowling (the screen in front of the windshield) or debris in front of the in cab heater-a/c coil.
