It could be both i would check to see if they are wired up or for a broken wire

if they are,nt making any noise is maybe your balance is turned too far.

Actually, the Sony head unit makes all the difference. The rear door speakers in your Yukon are run by a factory amplifier. To make the amp work, you need to connect the amp activation wire in the factory radio plug to the blue/white remote output from the Sony head unit.

The amp activation wire should be pink. If you're using an adapter harness to connect the new head unit, the pink wire should connect to a blue wire in the harness.
