i have a 99 gmc suburban with a 5.7 in it and it died it cranks over and has fuel but no spark replaced the coil , crank senser, and had checked the ign control module the pick up coil is only 3 months old checked all the grounds and still nothing it was running fine then just died and will not start its got 12 volts going to the coil but no spark coming out does anyone have any advise on what i should check any input would be helpful some one told me that is might be the spark control module but cant locate and the book i have dont show it. could the pick up coil in the distributer gone bad? also replaced the ecm/ecu

Have you checked the crank shaft sensor???

A good web site that will lay-out logical trouble shooting guide for your problem is easyautodiagnostics.com. Most of his tests are done with nothing more than a DMM (multimeter).
