99 w/ H.I.Ds only one side working

Hey ya'll, I just got this 99 2500 4x4 auto w/ a 6.0 when I got it the guy said something about if the passenger side hid headlight goes out to click over to highbeams and back and it'll come back on. I was dealing with it for the time being and it did become an issue and like he said i clicked over to highbeams and back and sure enough it came back on. Now I cant get that one headlight to come back on for crap, Anyone have any ideas what might be the cause of this? Thankyou for your help in advance

im not an expert. my only experience with HIDs is when i bought a used yet great looking '93 f150. it had a great lift, over 5k into it with 33's and the HID kit was killer. I'm 55 and it was the first time i ever had HID in front and man what a difference. They light up everything. I got rid of that truck cause the mpg was around 8mpg.

now i'm thinking of getting a set for my 2000 sierra z71. Check all your wiring and make sure it's hooked up right. i'm sure it probably is and i'm not sure if there is a way to check your ballace, but the ballace to the bad light may be going or is out. Maybe you need to replace it. It's the square looking metal box about 3x3 1/2.

Not sure what they cost.
