Hello, I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place, but if not please feel free to point me in the right direction.

I registered to get some information for my brother. He recently purchased a 2002 Sierra 4X4 that had been in a front end collision. He picked it up for less than scrap cost and had a couple other Sierras to use for parts trucks. The previous owner had already started taking the front end apart to replace the damaged pieces, but lost interest in the project. With the front end mostly taken down we had no idea of what went where, but we have done a good job of figuring things out with the help of Google. We have come across a stumbling block though. One sensor/connector that we can not seem to identify or find where it came from.

I figured with the luck I have had on other forums with my own vehicles, that maybe someone of here would be able to identify the piece and have an idea of where it goes.

Thank for any help you may be able to offer. After 5 straight hours of searching parts catalogs and looking at wiring diagrams I am at a loss and my eyes are ready to fall out of my head:o We want to get it in to have the frame checked and an alignment done the week after next and this is one of the last few things to tie up before putting the replacement bumper and grill on.

how about disconnecting it and see if a code is pops up
sometimes even if the check engine lights doesn't light up there could be a stored code
if you don't have a scanner go to auto zone and have them check
PETE
