Why is my ABS light coming on then after awhile go off? Is the pressure controller going out?

what year, model, were do you live?
your fluid may be in need of a flush until clean fluid at all four corners
if you live in a wet area, hydraulic fluid (brake fluid ) attracts/absorbs water over time lowering efficiency and the amount of pressure it can produce .

use a clean turkey baster to remove old fluid from reservoir noting how bad it looks and the sludge that is in the bottom of the reservoir . if it looks bad that may be your problem
time to flush....

before you spend the money on the pressure sensor
do the simple and less exspensive route replace the fluid
TN. that is a wet area, I used to live west NC, Avery county
what year truck and how long have you had it

Have had truck 4yrs. Brakes less than 1 yr. old Staying on more often now. Feel it in the pedal when braking.
